PROJECT LAUNDRY

LAUNDRY was another idea from a friend to write about.

The amount of laundry I do kills me. For a family of three people I have no idea why there is a mountain in the basement! I'm always thinking Josh is going to be popping up out of it the mountain is so big. Hell I'm always hoping Josh is going to pop out of it that would mean less to do!!! I know if I didn't wait so long in between washing maybe there won't be so much. I guess I don't mind doing it, it's not like its that hard. The thing I don't do well is getting it put away. I start the next load of laundry and bring up the basket of fresh clean warm clothes and drop it in the bedroom. In mind that I will get right back to it. Before I know it there are four clean basket fulls upstairs. One in my bedroom, one in Josh's room, two in the computer room because there was no room in my bedroom because of the other basket that is already in there. Well four days later when I'm looking for the basket to bring up a load. So now I need to put the clothes away, pi$$ed that it's all wrinkled!! You would think I would learn. I just have better things to do like blog,.. right!!!

Things I like about doing the laundry is what ever money I find it's mine. My rule but I like it. Toys I give back no use to me.

Things I HATE well you already know putting it away, that was a given. I hate when Josh or John leave a pen in their pocket!!!! Yes it has happened more then once. Having spots all over everything sucks! They then become work clothes, and for Josh play clothes.

That's really all I got to say about LAUNDRY

LIFE WITH OUT CLEAN CLOTHES WOULD BE DIRTY!!

Actually, I love laundry compared to cooking! And baking! In fact, I really don't like to be near a stove for any reason.....but give me mounds of laundry and I in 7th heaven!!

hehe Laudry is a pain but I have to tell you I always remind myself when I do our laundry of what it was like when we didn't have a washer/dryer and had to go to the laundromat. Every time I find myself on the stairs to our laundry room grumbling I shake myself and remember the winter days hauling baskets of clothes to the car or hotter than you know where days of summer sitting in a laundromat with sweat dripping down my back. bring on them dirty clothes! Hmm now you've given me a post idea.

I feel your pain, sister! There are just too many steps involved in laundry. And putting it away is the WORST!
