We kind of had 2 Halloweens. Friday in our town, main street had the stores put a pumpkin paper in their windows so you would know what stores were handing out candy. You would go to the library first to get your paper work. They handed the kids a paper that had the stores marked with squares, you would take the paper to the stores and they would stamp it. You had to find the clue at the stores. Once you found all the clues you would go back to the library and get a prize. They also had games, crafts, and story telling.
We walked to every store, it took forever it seemed but the kids had fun. My mom and I were done about half way!!! There were just so many kids running around and we both hate people in masks. Not knowing who is behind them. Kids are OK, but when you got grown men and women it just scares the crap out of me!!!
Here is one kid I had to get a picture of. The pig, it's filled with air. How cute!!!!On Saturday we did our pumpkins. Handed out candy to 4 kids, for some reason we don't get many kids on our street. The only good part about that is we get to keep the candy we don't give out!!!!
Picture of mom and I, was taking by Hope!! Thanks Hope for helping out taking pictures!! Even at Nathan's Birthday party you did a great job!!!
Then it was off to trick or treat, in our case it was just to treats!!! This was the first year all the kids got to be together!! We hung out at our house for a little while, the went trick or treating on our street. Then Hope and Josh went with me, John and my mom. Glen had to go with Emily and Nathan to their thing. We should have talk before hand to set plans a little better. My bad!!!
What a long night starting at 4:00pm. I was so happy by the time we got home around 9:00pm.
