Wow, when I got up this morning I really didn't want to get out of my nice soft warm bed. I had one cat on the left of me and one cat on the right. John was already up. I could smell the coffee so I just had to get up. The cats stayed right where they were. I think we just might have to turn the heat on :O(
So yesterday at 2:00pm was the funeral for our friend, who was my brothers grandmother in-law. We really got to know her as family because of him and his wife. I really thought I was going to be able to be strong enough not to cry, but nope right when I saw my brothers wife start it just happened. Seeing the hurt of others kills me. I just wanted to run over to her and hug her. It was a lovely service, he talked about the good and the bad about losing someone. That you should talk about all the good times and bad times just talk about it. So after he was done we all sat around talking and getting to know one another. John and I didn't leave until 8:00pm. I was beat when I got home and went to bed.
Today we have a birthday party for Nate to go to. He is going to be TWO. It's a full circle this weekend for us, celebrating someones long lived life, and celebrating someones life that is just begging.
