CARDBOARD TESTIMONIES

It's 7:35pm and I just got done reading my emails like I do every night. I skip over the jokes and ones that are going to take to long to read until I have time to go back and read them. I found one from a friend of mine that was call CARDBOARD TESTIMONIES. I would like you to take a look at it. It's about 8 minutes long but you really need to see it. http://YouTube.com/watch?v=RvDDc5RB6FQ

I don't go to church, I'm not sure if there is a God! I feel there is something, but I'm not sure what. To tell you the truth no one has really talked to me about God. I don't want to change who I am to have to join something people say is so great. I can tell you this, when I saw the video it made cry. Why?? I don't go to church. I don't really know what those people have gone though, but I felt something. There is a part of me that sometimes feels like I should go to church. I don't know where to even being. How do you know what church to go to? How do you know it's right for you? So may questions.

I guess I could always ask my brother Tony and his wife Bo. They go to church every Sunday. My sister in-law Denise and her mother Joy go to church. I guess that would be a good start. I have even gone to church for Christmas, and a few time with friends. I listened to what was being said, some made sense and a lot didn't. I'm sure over time I would learn, but starting at the age of 32 seem weird knowing most have gone all their lives. How will I ever catch up??

I will check out the link at another time being it`s late, but I do want you to know I was raised a Catholic. There are some things I question and that I myself don`t whole heartedly believe nd agree with. I think some laws are man made. I do however believe in God and that is enough for me. I can believe and talk to him no matter where I`am. I don`t need to be in the church walls to do so ;)
Wow you just got me to talk about something I normally would not post about.

What a powerful message for HIM! I'm so glad I took the time to see all those testimonies. We serve an AWESOME GOD! "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ~ Philippians 4:13"

I just read the rest of your comment. Sweetie it is NEVER too late to begin a relationship with God. EVER! He is waiting for you even now and you felt Him stirring when you watched that video.

I used to think I could pray and not go to church. But He wants us around our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to strengthen each other.

I wasn't raised in church. My family and I found a home church about 5 years ago... I was 46. I recommitted my life to Him then! Praise God! My only regret is we didn't do it sooner when my kids were young.

Look around, go with friends and family to find the right church for YOU. If they're Bible based (and not a bunch of man's rules/laws).... you're on the right track. Oh my didn't I get on the soap box. Sorry. :o)

Blessings to you and your family sweetie!
