Yes people it's that time of year again. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!!!! The Q Morning Show will once again be holding the world's largest can and bottle drive! The Q goal is to collect over a quarter of a million cans and bottles to be turned in to cash! All the proceeds will be going to the Maine Cancer Foundation and the Cancer Community Center!
So if you are in the area of the Maine Mall help Stand Up to Cancer by bring your cans and bottles to the parking lot of the Maine Mall on October 15th. The Q Morning Show will be there that day and if I remember right they stay over night until they get their quarter of a million cans and bottles. This will be Joshua's 3rd year helping out. We get cans and bottles from everyone we know and take them to Portland. Yes it's a long drive but, it's our way of helping out. Joshua got to be on the radio one year. He thought that was the coolest. Every year this is something Joshua love to do. He says he will do it every time they have it. I love to see him so willing to help out. The 1st year he did it the cans and bottles he gave them were his that he was saving up for a video game. I couldn't believe my 8 year old son (at the time) was willing to give up his goal for a greater goal. So tell everyone you know and help the Q out!!
