ICE FISHING

Today I went to my brother Glen's house to go ice fishing. It wasn't to cold at first but then the wind started to pick up so we didn't stay out there to long
Check Spelling

You have to make sure the ice is thick enough to hold you and others. So he was making sure it was thick!!!!
This is a chart that show how much weight you can up on so many inches of ice.

He uses a standard tip up trap. It is generally made of two wooden sticks that form an X. It has a trigger device at the end of the vertical rod that is connected to the spool. A flag is attached on top of the vertical rod to signal a catch. Which did not happen at all today. There wasn't even a bit.

This is another kind of trap.
We had a nice time on the lake. Cold but fun!!
