OK, I have had my new camera for over a month. The computer still can't download the pictures right. I have even lost some picture, so now I'm afraid to try. I love to show off my pictures and it seemed like people liked looking at them. I don't think people look at my blog anymore :O(
Anyways, things are going good here. I had a little scare last month at the doctors. I had a pap smear done and my doctor said something didn't look right so she sent me to a "specialist" to look for cancer. That big scary word CANCER. So for a month I told no one but my mother about this only because the day of the appointment I went to her house to pick up the kids to go trick or treating. She knew by my face something was wrong, I had to tell her. So today I went to the "specialist" and she said she really has no idea why my doctor sent me there!!!!! Oh was I mad, there was nothing wrong, for a month I worried for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have learned not to get worked up over something your not 100% sure about. The doctor that I have, I think is out to get me because there was one time not to long ago I went to the office and was waiting in the room for her and I was in there for 25 minutes in a Johnny and I could hear her talking and having a good time with some co-workers. So I called the front desk from the room on my cell and told them what was going on. A few seconds later she came walking in all pissed off and asked me if I was in a rush....I wanted to punch her. I couldn't say anything bad because she was going to be giving me a pap smear, and you don't want the person doing that to be mad!!! I know I could have walked out but I needed the check up for birth control pill, if I don't have the pills I can't you know.... so I needed it. I know TMI.
So I almost think this is her way of getting me back, needless to say I'm no longer going to her I will be seeing this "specialist" now. She is so much sweeter and really listen to what I had to say. She made me feel really comfortable too.
LIFE WORKS IN WEIRD WAYS JUST GO WITH THE FLOW.

What kind of camera do you have? Did you get a program disk with it to download on your computer? Are you using Windows XP or some other system? We have an Olympus digetial camera that has worked fine for downloading pictures and the program that came with it also does a good job for editing them. Keep trying and check the instructions again.
Yes the camera came with a disk, but when I plug in the camera it says I need to load the disk and I already did. My old camera never had to reload the disk. I think it has to do with my computer itself. Thank you for your help. I will try today and see what happens
maybe its just me--but my experience with the camera disks that come with the camera are CRAP! i just use the "wizard" that pops up when you plug your camera in and haven't had a minutes trouble since! good luck...
Aww Susan I hope you get it worked out, I really enjoy seeing your pictures. Your words are very good too! I hear ya on the dr. Matt's had him see a specialist cause he 'saw something' on his cat scan. He goes to the specialist and he says 'there's nothing there'. Same thing waiting to get in to the specialist you're sweating bullets what can it be?
RYC: I was so excited to get that shot of Santa today, at work no less lol. The popcorn he brought was excellent too!
