This is our dog Sadie. I really need to try to take better pictures of her. She is 4 years old. We have only had her a year and a half. Someone from my husbands work wanted to get rid of her. When I heard it was a Golden Lab I was all over that. So we made plans to go and see her. We showed up to the house and went in. I didn't see the dog. They said they keep her in the basement. That didn't sound good to me. We walked down the stairs and there she was, in a dog crate. I couldn't believe that. In my head I thought she was running around down there. They told us when they had their baby 9 months ago she would try jumping on who ever was holding the baby and they didn't want anything to happen to the baby. I do understand that, but come on. When they open the door she came flying out so fast and was jumping around like a nut. I looked at my husband like wow this dog is to much for us. She was jumping on the chair that was there almost knocking it over. They let us have time with her alone. I told my husband we would take her and if it didn't work out we would find her a home. There was no way I was leaving her there locked in a dark lonely basement. Now 1 1/2 years later I know why she ran around like a nut. They never played with her. She is happy now with us. She just lays around unless we make her run like a nut. I don't know what I would do with out her now.
