WHAT DO I DO???????????????

I have been laid off now for a month!! I have been trying to think of things to sell. I started making bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Because I need to keep busy. I have 35 bracelets, 96 earrings, and 8 necklaces. Now what do I do with them???? I don't even know if they are good enough to sell. I don't even know how much to ask for them. Any ideas if so email me please and tell me poirierjs@myfairpoint.net any info would do me wonders.

Figure up how much you have invested in materials to make the items. Estimate how much time it takes you to make each item. Decide on what your labor is worth on an hourly basis. Decide how you are going to advertise your products and what that will cost. After you have all this info, you can put it together to set a cost of an item. Then you can add 10% to 25% for your profit. The better the things sell, the more you can increase this amount until you reach a happy medium.

Advertising these items with pictures and prices on your blog might be a good place to start. It is cheap advertising. Places like Craig's list can also be used.

When you start selling and have to ship items, don't forget to add that cost to the price or set the price an additional 5% higher to cover shipping and handling.

Good luck!
