Blue Angles 2008

This weekend was the Blue Angles Airshow here in Maine September 6th and 7th. John, Joshua, and I went to see them. The weather wasn't that bad. A little rain, but there was just to many low clouds that didn't allow a lot of the planes to fly. So no Blue Angles Saturday. We got to see a lot of the planes on the ground. Josh got to sit in some. They also had trucks and cars. After they said that the Blue Angles weren't going to fly we wanted to head home, and so did EVERYONE else. We were there at 8:oo am and it was now 3:00. It took us over an hour to get off the base, when it only took us 5 minutes to get on.

On Sunday I really wanted to try again to see the Blue Angles fly. So only Josh and I went. John really didn't feel like making it a whole weekend thing for him. Plus a lot of stuff had to be done at home, so he took care of them. The sky was blue and the weather was great for flying. We got to see the Blue Angles!!!!!!!!! We also sat in more planes.

They had other things going on there too. Something called the firewall.
Something that ate cars called the Megasaurus ?!?!?!?!?!
Even a Home Depot Build, Learn, and Create center for the kids. Josh loved that part.

So we had a fun filled weekend.
